Uji Efektivitas Ekstrak Etanol Ikan Gabus (Channa striata) Terhadap Penurunan Kadar Glukosa Darah Mencit Jantan (Mus musculus)

Ikan gabus dapat membantu mempercepat proses penyembuhan penyakit diabetes. Diabetes mellitus merupakan metabolik yang ditandai dengan gejala hiperglikemia sebagai akibat gangguan sekresi insulin dan atau meningkatnya resistensi sel terhadap insulin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ekstrak etanol ikan (Channa striata) memiliki efek paling efektif dalam menurunkan kadar glukosa darah. Metode : eksperimental diawali mengekstraksi daging kulit cara perkolasi, pelarut digunakan 70%, hasil diperoleh berupa gabus. Pengujian penurunan darah mencit menggunakan 30 ekor dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok. Kelompok I (kontrol pelarut) Na CMC 0,5%, kelompok II (pembanding/glibenklamid), III (pembanding/obat herbal ), IV, V VI (perlakuan dosis 0,45; 0,9 1,8 g/KgBB). Kadar gula tiap dianalisis secara statistik metode One Way ANOVA uji Post-Hoc Duncan SPSS. Hasil antara glibenklamid, obat menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan nilai α > 0,05. Dari disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas diinduksi sebesar g/kgBB.
